PDMA is the premier worldwide resource for professional development, information, collaboration and promotion of new product development and management. PDMA's mission is to improve the effectiveness of individuals and organizations engaged in product development. They periodically publish the Journal of Product Innovation Management (JPIM), an international journal devoted to the latest research, theory and practice in new product and service development. They also bring out the quarterly Visions Magazine containing articles on practical tools and techniques dealing with a wide variety of product development and management issues.

All the members of the PDMA India would automatically become the members of the PDMA with no additional payment and with equal rights and opportunities of normal members except that they will have access to only the electronic form of the publications and would not have voting rights in the parent body.
