Speaker Profile:
"Mr.B.Ramachandran graduated in
Electrical Engineering from IIT - Delhi in 1966 and has worked
in various capacities in Larsen & Toubro until his retirement in
September 2009.
He started as a Product Design Engineer in L&T's Electrical
Switchgear Division in Mumbai, became Production Manager, set up
the Electronics Products Manufacturing campus at Mysore, was the
founder-CEO of two India-US joint venture companies in the L&T
group and in the final phase of his career set up and headed the
Engineering Services business for L&T.
At various times he has taught Electrical Engineering courses at
IIT-Mumbai, Production Management courses at Mumbai University
and Mysore University, has served on various committees and
expert panels of ISI, Rural Electrification Corporation, Nasscom
and so on."
